I love the zoo! Perhaps only for the time being? haha.. i hope not!

yea really had a great time working at the zoo. This is probably my first time workin in an office. yea had been workin front line since i was in sec 4 and tot of changing to smth new and i made the right choice! Unlike the operational dept, the back-ofhouse dept has more to offer!

I received my first project on my second or third day of work. It's a small project but i took it seriously! haha... im supposed to plan an amazing race for the coming orientation tour and it was fun! Toured the zoo alot of times and got to knw alot of ppl. Even those who duno me also greeted me! Like the sweepers, the tram captains, zookeepers and so on... really glad to work with a bunch of friendly ppl!

Project was really fun... and im really glad tt my "proposal" was accepted! ahhh!! =D But now still got another project! That is to plan the timeline for the employee survey program. yea really gg crazy this time round cuz zoo got alot of depts!!!

Overall the job is quite fufiling la... haha.. both me and hm think so! As i had said, it is unlike operations which no brain power is needed jus use your skills. But for the BOH depts you really haf to think hard! conceptual thinkin! Cool isnt it?

By now i can really memorise the zoo map by heart after touring the zoo N times. and i even know the names of the animals! haf you all heard of 2-toed sloth? Its the slowest mammal in the world! so slow tt algae grows on its fur! And the lemurs! It looks like a skunk but it isnt. hhaaha duno hw to describe la.. but i knw wat it is! Im sure you all knw Timon and Pumbaa in lion king right? Timon is a meerkat and Pumbaa is a warthog! ahahah.. and i saw the hyenas! the accomplices of Scar in lion king!

cotton-eared monkey. haha duno whether i name it correctly not but will find out again! It was less than an arm's length away from me wor!! Wanted to touch it but better not... if not kena scold by the zookeeper

Omar the white tiger in the waters! Do you know that every 10 000 tigers only one is white? The zoo got three of the white tigers! Not bad hur!
