I love the zoo! Perhaps only for the time being? haha.. i hope not!

yea really had a great time working at the zoo. This is probably my first time workin in an office. yea had been workin front line since i was in sec 4 and tot of changing to smth new and i made the right choice! Unlike the operational dept, the back-ofhouse dept has more to offer!

I received my first project on my second or third day of work. It's a small project but i took it seriously! haha... im supposed to plan an amazing race for the coming orientation tour and it was fun! Toured the zoo alot of times and got to knw alot of ppl. Even those who duno me also greeted me! Like the sweepers, the tram captains, zookeepers and so on... really glad to work with a bunch of friendly ppl!

Project was really fun... and im really glad tt my "proposal" was accepted! ahhh!! =D But now still got another project! That is to plan the timeline for the employee survey program. yea really gg crazy this time round cuz zoo got alot of depts!!!

Overall the job is quite fufiling la... haha.. both me and hm think so! As i had said, it is unlike operations which no brain power is needed jus use your skills. But for the BOH depts you really haf to think hard! conceptual thinkin! Cool isnt it?

By now i can really memorise the zoo map by heart after touring the zoo N times. and i even know the names of the animals! haf you all heard of 2-toed sloth? Its the slowest mammal in the world! so slow tt algae grows on its fur! And the lemurs! It looks like a skunk but it isnt. hhaaha duno hw to describe la.. but i knw wat it is! Im sure you all knw Timon and Pumbaa in lion king right? Timon is a meerkat and Pumbaa is a warthog! ahahah.. and i saw the hyenas! the accomplices of Scar in lion king!

cotton-eared monkey. haha duno whether i name it correctly not but will find out again! It was less than an arm's length away from me wor!! Wanted to touch it but better not... if not kena scold by the zookeeper

Omar the white tiger in the waters! Do you know that every 10 000 tigers only one is white? The zoo got three of the white tigers! Not bad hur!

And so my friends flew...

Wonder how are they over there... haha... but still have to wait a few days more for them find internet access. nvm they will miss us day by day night by night. omg it sounds disgusting i knw. XD

saw quite a number of people crying at the airport... sm are quite real but some quite fake la... haha hm and ht shd know who we talkin abt. but for our click nobody cried! haha.. sounded abit happy? no la.. we shd be glad for them that they are gg to have a good overseas experience for their internship. right? Shd stay happpy =D

But i really felt very guilty that i came late and made the rest waited for me... seemed as if im the one who is gg overseas and my friends even took video recording for me just in case i can't make it! touched~~~~ hahah... feel really bad on tt day and i wanna say sorry to them!

Afterwards went to bugis with our exceptionally demure huiting (only on tt day!) for window shopping! haha... was abit surprised abt her new look. short skirt, low chest and new hair cut. yea tts how u shd dress up gal! perhaps she shd put abit of make-up too? den she will becm the hottest auntie on town. dun u guys think so?

glad tt at least we had smth to liven up our day aft the sad morning departure. as usual, she is always chatting non-stop and i guess my mouth and jaws haf nv rest b4 on tt day? yea even crapped alot abt xiao during lunch when our mouth is full with kimchi noodles.

guess whr did we go afterwards? we went to teo heng!! hahaha.. my long awaited singing session tho i had been thr quite a few times during the holiday. tt auntie sang pretty good i think. haha.. amazed.

met up with hm today at amk to shop, supposed to. haha cuz in e end we didnt buy anythin. travelled to tm afterwards to find our fav dano long sleeved top but in vain! need to wait for the next stock replenishment!

yea n i finally saw her bf. haha... sweet little couple and i felt like a jie jie standing next to them. hahahah..

o ya finally received hx's email! they can't access to blogspot!! but glad tt they are fine tho she complained tt the food and bed is not good. haha.. but ok la.. its the experience gained tt is precious!

I guess my friends are busying countdown-ing their flight to China? Can really feel their excitement and anticipation. Suddenly realised that I haven got the chance to wish them anything yet.

5mths trip not going to be long, but not gg to be short either. haha... treat the trip as learning experience ba, rather than treating it as an internship, then the days will be shorter. yea the same thing goes for me too =)

Im back to blog my happenings during the past two days! haha! yea really VERY happening!

7/9 at Great Word City cinema

Was with ql during xiao zhu's first activity in sg. This is probably the best picture i had taken so far of him. haha was using camera phone la.. i dun haf good camera. And guess what? I MANAGED TO TOUCH HIS HAND!! AHHHH! The whole story is v kuku... I almost missed the chnace to "shake" his hand. haha.. cuz xiao zhu actually raised his hands to the sides BUT I DIDNT KNOW LA! i tot he was trying to make some "feel welcomed" gestures or what. haha.. until i heard the security people said "快点快点握他手！" den we realised tt we are supposed to shake his hand.




Some high school musical posters were actually blocking the view into the glass walls but xiao zhu is v nice! He moved the posters away so that we can get to see him! how nice and considerate! hahah... picture is not v clear la cuz of the reflection. I know you all will not believe me when i say this

He responded my wave. hahahaha

It was not my illusion, cuz ql oso said so! hahaha! made my spirit so high. Everybody were busy taking photos of him that when he waved, nobody actually seems to notice it? haha.. so i waved him back and he smiled! Nobody is actually waving except me during that moment. hahah! shuang! Diao bu diao?

ql also made me laughed like hell at tt time. cuz xiao zhu kept swaying and made all of us had difficulty taking pic and she scolded him "si ghin nah". so auntie la! and her hokkien is really hokkien with a strong fluent accent. I mus say tt she is brave enough to say tis cuz the ppl around us are all really NO.1 xiao zhu's fans.

Was with qt this time round cuz ql got piano lesson. Xiao zhu performing his new song "bi sha ji" from high school muscial 2 "Bet on it". Dance was GREAT. For singing wise... hmm can be improved ba. haha.. xiao jing teng's singing is better =D

Started his autograph session but i didnt buy the single. haha waste money la.. $19.90 for a signature plus shake hand. worth it? actually i think quite worth it la... hahaha for now only cuz can get a closer view of him and touch his smooth hand. hahahahah! ok la i touched b4 yesterday so it doesnt make any difference whether i got buy the singles or not. Moreover i dun listen to the other high school musical songs except bi sha ji (the one and only song sang by him). aiya im gg to his concert anyway so it doesnt matter. *self-consoling*

Happy Belated Bd to Low Tze Ye~ and qt and hm... haha

Today was fun! Had a steamboat session with ty, hx, hm, qt, sl and ht! haha altho im quite tired throughout the whole day playing a good host! haha.. and poor qt and hm had to lost their way for almost 3hrs to my house? so the morale of the story is always charge your hp b4 you go to ur friend's house! esp for the first time!

We had a great time eating the half-raw food and unfortunately there were so many obstacles today. The soup doesnt boil! Had to use the hair dryer many times to get the fire on-going. Made a big mess in my kitchen -_-

Hope the 3 gals like the presents that we chose for them. Cuz we were like touring the 2nd level of bugis street for 7 to 8 times jus to get the right presents. Touched not??? Muz cry! T.T

And nevertheless, talked alot about xiao jing teng at the bus stop. haha.. an interesting topic for me! Rbr, muz go and watch his video in youtube! Highly recommend da xiao ai chi, wo ai hei sei hui and xing guan PK sai!
